Congratulations to the Virginia Currents October Photo Contest Winners!

Contest Theme: Home

L.A. Mathews won the "Popular Vote" with 1,170 votes.

“I feel most like I'm at home at the top of city hall. You can see so much of Richmond from there and it's especially beautiful at night."

Tri Pham won the "Artists Pick." The featured artist, Daphne Maxwell Reid, the host of Virginia Currents chose this photo because of "the reflection of the house in the water. I like the thought of a childhood memory as ‘home’."

“Home is an idyllic image reflecting a childhood memory to me. It's a simple rustic house; has a green pasture and a few trees."

November's theme is 'Teachable Moments' with Sasha Waters Freyer, the VCU chair of the Photography and Film Department as the featured artist.

Submit your photo for the November Virginia Currents Photo Contest for a chance to have your photo featured on WCVE PBS and WHTJ PBS.
