Celebrated British Actor John Cleese of Monty Python fame convened a panel of University of Virginia near-death and after-death researchers on Thursday night [04/12].
Cleese knows death.
[FX: "It has ceased to be. It's expired and gone to meet its maker. This is a late parrot."]
The audience heard about reincarnation, near-death experiences, and they took questions.
"If we have life after death, what is the point of life itself?"
John Cleese, "I remember my good friend Peter Cook, who was a genius and a comedian, and he was more worried about sex after death."
Attendee Prem Anjali, "I thought it was fascinating that Cleese has this interest and apparently a very serious and long-term interest given that we think of him mostly just as someone in the entertainment world."
