The National Weather Service says this afternoon the chances of a significant snowfall are increasing for this weekend.
The question has always been snow or rain, but now... “The odds are increasing for a significant snowstorm at least for the Richmond and I-95 corridor and points west,” said Jonathan McGee from the National Weather Service. “Be coming in first thing Sunday morning, lasting through the day and then winding down Monday by midday.”
He says it is too early to predict accumulations of even exactly where the rain/snow line will be, but he believes it could be enough to disrupt transportation. “It’s going to cause some travel difficulties once we get into the weekend.”
