The 18th Annual Alexander Paley Music Festival

The 2015 Alexander Paley Music Festival takes place this weekend at St. Luke Evangelical Church. Mr. Paley is world-renowned for his extensive repertoire, his technical prowess, and his passionate, convincing interpretations. All performances are free and take place Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., as well as Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.

Saturday evening's performance will feature the Richmond Symphony Chamber Chorus directed by Erin Freeman in a rare performance of Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle. On Sunday, clarinetist Charles West and violinist Daisuke Yamamoto will perform music of Ravel, Poulenc and Debussy.

Alexander Paley and Erin Freeman spoke with me about this year's festival. I hope you enjoy the interview and can make it out to the festival! You can find out more on the festival's website, paleymusicfestival.org.

Yours in good music,
