Composer Ola Gjeilo was born in Norway in 1978 and moved to the United States in 2001 to begin composition studies at the Juilliard School. He’s a talented composer and pianist, who is now the composer-in-residence with the British vocal ensemble Voces8.

Superstar violinist Anne Akiko Meyers has released a new album “Fantasia.” This project centers around a piece written for her by the legendary Finnish composer Einojuhani Rautavaara. The recording also includes the famous “Tzigane” by Maurice Ravel, as well as the Violin Concerto No. 1 by Karol Szymanowki.
