The two candidates running to serve as Virginia's next Lieutenant Governor met in Charlottesville for a debate Wednesday (8/9). Republican State Senator Jill Vogel and Democrat Justin Fairfax participated in an hour and a half-long discussion. The event was hosted by the Senior Statesmen of Virginia and begins with the voice of moderator Bob Gibson of UVA's Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service.

With a variety of issues relating to the retail industry confronting the Greater Richmond community, Walmart thought this was the perfect time to convene a panel discussion on The Future of Retail. Local experts discussed the Richmond area grocery wars, e-commerce and its integration with brick and mortar stores, employee training and recruiting, and a variety of other issues related to the changing world of retail in Richmond.
