23rd Annual Virginia Festival of the Book Now Under Way

The twenty third annual Virginia Festival of the Book kicks off in Charlottesville, Virginia today (Wednesday, March 22), featuring five full days of mostly free events for readers and writers of all ages! Presented by the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities (recently highlighted on Charlottesville Inside-Out--watch here) and the Virginia Center for the Book, the Festival attracts more than 20,000 audience members annually and features a diverse selection of over 400 authors ranging from international bestsellers -- including Charlottesville-based author Margot Lee Shetterly (Hidden Figures) -- to new authors from around the country. Programs include panel discussions, author readings, book signings and more!
