Volunteer Opportunities

Want to have fun and make a difference? Volunteer! Volunteers are a big part of the Community Idea Stations and our efforts to contribute to our community. Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year in a variety of areas - events, office work, reading to children, and representing us at community events. We keep this page updated with a list of the coming opportunities, so check us out and see if there is something that fits you. If you’d prefer, sign up here to be added to our Volunteer Opportunities mailing list. So volunteer and join the Community Idea Stations family - a family you’ll never want to leave!

Spring is on its way and we’ve got a lot happening at the station and in the community, with our Ready to Learn and Science Matters outreach programs. Please take a look at what we’ve got coming up in March and April and sign up to help where you can. We appreciate all you do to help us serve the children and families in Greater Richmond by providing them fun and educational events. You are making a difference in children’s lives!
