Virginia Currents Classic: Boatwright House / Virginia Civil Rights Memorial / Gunston Hall Plantation
Witness the historic unveiling of the Virginia Civil Rights Memorial and reflect on the pivotal Moton High School strike. The memories of a bygone time are recalled during the dismantling of the 200 year old Boatwright House in Buckingham County. Then we go to Mason Neck and Gunston Hall Plantation, the home of George Mason, who along with James Madison, was considered the Father of the Bill of Rights.
