April 21 VC #2021 As the Robert Russa Moton Museum prepares to unveil it’s major exhibit, former students, Joy Cabarrus Speakes and Reverend Samuel Williams Jr., tell us what it was like to be there during the Moton High School Strike 60 years ago and what the school meant to them at this pivotal time in history. Also, hop aboard the veggie bus!  Find out how Mark Lilly’s Farm to Family bus brings fresh and chemical free produce from local farms to city neighborhoods.

April 28 VC #2023 Virginia Currents dusts off a vintage musical treasure, That Norfolk Sound.  Ray T. Jones, entertainer and a retired Command Master, tells us about his musical journey in the late '60's when he was stationed on the USS Barney in Norfolk. Described as being an eclectic mixture of psychedelic fuzz, folky acoustic guitar and funk, Ray's interpretation of the Norfolk Sound has left impressions on many old and new fans.  Also it's one of the country's biggest Asian spas and it's in nearby Centreville, Virginia.  We step into Spa World - over 50,000 square feet of pure relaxation for women, men and even children.  And May-Lily Lee strums the sounds of a familiar and favorite ballad.  WATCH NOW

About 50% of my pledge dollars is because of Lawrence welk. Not seen on TV as programmed. Saturday nite is setup around Lawrence Welk. Where is ny show.???

We had a problem with our satellite feeds for The Lawrence Welk Show that resulted in Welk not airing on Saturday night at 7pm. We had to air an alternative program instead, but Welk will return to its normal Saturday at 7pm slot this upcoming weekend.
