Sure, I know that St. Patrick’s Day lands on the same day as this week’s World Music Show (3/17). But for some reason I decided that on this week’s show it’d be great to dance to some Latin music. Oh sure, we’ll “celebrate” the holiday with some Irish music, but that won’t happen until hour two.
Do you Ska? Are you Rocksteady? Perhaps you’re more of a Two-Tone type? If none of these terms make sense to you, don’t worry. On this week’s World Music Show (3/10), I’ll be explaining them all.
When you think of the desert, what comes to mind? Well, sure sand--lots of it, right? But what about in terms of music? If you’re a regular listener to the World Music Show, then you could answer desert blues guitar driven music.
Listen. Before anyone jumps to conclusions, I’ll reveal the meaning behind this week’s World Music Show (2/10) headline a tad later in this blog. Let’s just go with that it sort of, kind of, almost, in a small way, reflects some tiny theme hidden in this week’s show.

Sometimes I feel like I’m a detective--a musical detective.
