Classical Music with Shawn Evans - Wed, 02/27/2013
After a performance by the Richmond Symphony of music of Ravel written in memory of Couperin, I'll have Ravel to continue with pieces I didn't get to on yesterday's program of Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves. Also, Couperin's own music in memory of Lully, other French composers paying tribute to French composers, and a performance or two from the American pianist Van Cliburn, who died early Wednesday.
