Largest Class In UVA History Moves In Over The Weekend

The largest class in University of Virginia history is on the grounds and going through orientation. Classes start tomorrow at the University of Virginia, after 3,690 first-year students have unloaded their belongings over the weekend and gone through two days of orientation.

The University says nearly 31% are minorities, 89% ranked in the top ten of their high school graduation classes. The mean test scores on the SAT were 665 of a possible 800, and 259 low-income students qualified for grants and loans covering 100% of their expenses under the financial aid program Access UVA.
