A Treasure In a Time of Need

Northern Neck commentator Thea Marshall shares what she calls “a treasure” to help us through the horror of Newtown.

This morning's program with Thea Marshall contained a poem that transformed my grieving process into one of hope. My husband of forty years died 16 months ago. I am devastated with grief. My friend, also a widow of 6 years, listened to the poem with me. Both of us realized that in order to have written this poem, the young man must have experienced such grief himself, for no one could identify with such heart wrenching emotions except one who had undergone such himself. To the young man I say "thank you" from the bottom of my heart and that I am so sorry for his loss. Please continue with your up building and encouraging program content! Sincerely, Karen Crecco
