Site Near SMV Expected to be Chosen for Redskins' Camp

Richmond Mayor Jones and his steering committee have announced that the sites under consideration for the Washington Redskins' summer training camp have been narrowed to a location on Leigh Street -- adjacent to the Science Museum of Virginia -- and City Stadium. Sources close to the project say that the Leigh Street site will be the final selection.
