Petersburg Says Fines Not the Goal in Water Restrictions

The Appomattox River Water Authority has recommended that the five localities it serves impose mandatory water restrictions. In Petersburg, Colonial Heights, and Prince George County, those restrictions go into effect today and tomorrow in Dinwiddie County.  Chesterfield County will make an announcement this morning.
