Celebrity Eagle on the Mend at Wildlife Center
download
In early December, a world-famous bald eagle was found injured in the Northern Neck and brought back to the Wildlife Center of Virginia, a teaching and research veterinary hospital in Waynesboro, where she is slowly on the mend. Northern Neck Correspondent Pamela D’Angelo reports.
So glad that NX is ok, and in such good hands. Happy New Year to all of you that do such wonderful work with the wildlife.
love you nx @merry Christmas
Thank you for doing this report on our precious NX. Knowledge is power and hopefully, preservation.
Thank you for your story on our NX. Thousands of breaths were being collectively held while she was being transported back to the center and until we heard the extent of her injuries. It makes my heart happy to know there are people out there who will go the extra mile for an injured animal. Bless you all. (But I am secretly happy NX will be 'home for the holidays'.)
Thank you for the news on our "ROCK STAR" NX. Hope she continues to mend. NX is in the best hands possible with WCV. Thank you Officer Kevin for finding our precious DIVA. Merry Christmas to all !!

What a wonderful and comprehensive report on our NX. Yes, I am one of the faithful Eagle Nation members. We are so thankful for Deputy Keeve's swift action and the rehabber's prompt transport of NX to WCV where they all are dedicated to the preservation of wildlife. God Bless you, every one!
Thank you for your story on our "Rock Star". NX is truly loved throughout the world and it has been amazing to think that this eagle cam at the NBG garden has generated a following that has become like family. I have learned so much about eagles that I would have never experienced. Of course, the heartbreak of losing the female "Mom" was huge. Never the less, I am anticipating the coming season as many others are. Our gratitude to the Wildlife Center can never be adequately expressed, but it is geniune! Thanks again.
One of the infamous trio from the NBG nest, yeah, she's well known...and couldn't be in a better place than WCV. They absolutely rock, and are the best of the best!
Merry Christmas, NX.....please continue to heal.
Thank you so much for highlighting our NX -- but more importantly the WCV staff and 'residents' who contribute to our learning about wildlife .... making our lives more enriched.
We owe a great deal to Officer Kevin who rescued NX -- I am sure the Christmas Star guided him and NX safely back home!!!!
just sayin'
Thank you for such a nice report on NX. She is truly a very special eagle - just like her other siblings. The Wildlife Center is also a very special place. They take care of our precious wildlife - from the smallest to the largest. Thank you again.
