A 15-year old student from Midlothian, a sophomore at Maggie Walker Governor’s School, has just been inducted into the National Gallery for America’s Young Inventors in Akron, Ohio, for her work in bioengineering. Charles Fishburne talks with Samantha Marquez and a spokesperson for the National Museum of Education, Gay Evans.
Samantha, I just wanted to express how interesting your mind must work. You should be so proud of what you have done. You are right many look to the outside world of fame and never even come close to what you have done. You are the young in our country who should hightly be recognized as a special leader. Anyway, congratulations and I will be looking forward to seeing your name on many new things in the future. Thanks for your contrabutions to our world. It is a positive in a world that very few things turn out to be a real help in our world. Mary Gold
Way to go Samantha! You sounded awesome!
