Bay Act Violator to Pay $7,500 in Fines

A Richmond resident who illegally added on to her Northern Neck vacation home will pay a $7,500 civil fine for violating a state law protecting the Chesapeake Bay. WCVE's Northern Neck correspondent Pamela D’Angelo reports.

She incorrect asserts discrimination first ..
Then admits that people should check county regulations and laws prior to building. This is true for all counties, in the bay area and not in the bay area.
The bay areas is the public resource. The public enjoys the bay-area and benefits that wetlands provide, so yes, you have to check the regulations and follow procedures.
