Despite BUI Arrests, Alcohol Remains Part of Boating Culture

Recent high-profile alcohol-related boating accidents have underscored the need for boater education. During the last three years, law enforcement officials on Virginia waters have seen only a slight increase in arrests for boating under the influence and reckless boating. WCVE correspondent Pamela D’Angelo reports.
