Annual Museum Stores Holiday Shoppers Fair Opens

15 Museums in the Richmond area are offering items from their shops under one roof for the next three days.

The 16th annual Museum Stores of Richmond Holiday Shoppers Fair opens this morning at the Virginia Historical Society.

Delks:  Other museums that are participating will include Agecroft Hall, Chesterfield Historical Society, the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Library of Virginia, Science Museum of Virginia,  St. John's Church, Old Dominion Railway Museum, the Poe Museum, the Valentine Richmond History Center, Virginia Center for Architecture, the Holocaust Museum and Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, as well as John Marshall House in Scotchtown.

Delks:  Any purchases that are made during Holiday Shoppers Fair will help to benefit those local non-profit museums that are participating.

Six authors are going to be on hand signing books all three days. Tonight from five until nine, members of any of the museums taking part will get a 10% discount at all museum stores.
