VDOT Completes Repaving of I-64 on Time and on Budget
VDOT has announced the completion of repaving work to a heavily-travelled section of I-64 in the Richmond area…on time and on budget. Charles Fishburne reports.
Resurfacing the five-mile stretch from Bryan Park to Parham Road is all done.
Jarmen: For the 140,000 motorists that travel along the I-64 corridor, they will be very happy to know that they no longer have to shake, rattle and roll to get to this area.
Taya Jarmen at VDOT says the concrete repairs and new pavement should expand the life expectancy of the I-64 corridor west of Richmond for at least 50 years with scheduled maintenance. Cost was 35 million.
