Investigation into Goochland Teen’s Death Continues

17 year-old Bill Lee Maxwell III died after being found in the middle of Broad Street Road near Maidens Road early Saturday morning by Goochland deputies, State Police and Fire and Rescue answering a 911 call.

Investigators say that when he was found, he was unresponsive and very badly injured and while it appeared that he had been struck by at least one vehicle, no one was around.

The Goochland County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who saw anything on Broad Street Road, west of Oilville, between 1:30 and 3 in the morning on Saturday to call them at 556-5349.
