Arrest Made in Triple Shooting
The only suspect in a triple shooting in Petersburg is in jail.
25-year-old Larry Allen was arrested less than 24 hours after the incident.
Hyatt: Police searched for him pretty intensively, and it may be because of that pressure that he turned himself in without incident.
According to the Police Department's Esther Hyatt, investigators reached out to the public.
Hyatt: Public input was very helpful; in fact, that's probably how he knew he was being sought after.
A woman and two young men were shot near the intersection of Halifax Street and Cool Spring Drive around ten Sunday night.
Hyatt: Well, one of the reasons why we still need information from the public is because we're still developing the story of why it happened, as well as how it happened.
Allen, who already had warrants for his arrest, is now facing a slew of gun-related charges and he's being held without bond.
