Petersburg Police Investigating Triple Shooting
Police in Petersburg are investigating an incident that left a woman and two men with gunshot wounds on Sunday night.
Investigators believe they know who’s responsible.
Hyatt: Larry Allen, and he is a 25-year-old, medium complexion black male, 5'5" tall, 150 pounds, possibly a goatee and tattoos on his arms.
Petersburg Police Department’s Esther Hyatt says the shootings took place near the intersection of Halifax Street and Cool Spring Drive around ten Sunday night.
Hyatt: There was an officer not far, and she heard the gunshots and responded, so we were able to start to develop the suspect immediately.
At this point, Hyatt added, the motive for what happened isn’t clear.
Hyatt: Some of the information that we're getting is inconsistent, so we are really making an appeal to the public, if they know anything, because that can help us piece together what's going on with this entire case.
