Private Colleges Play Mythbusters
25 colleges in Virginia will spend a week dispelling conventional wisdom about the cost of going to an independent school.
Virginia Private College Week begins on the 26th. They’re encouraging prospective students to pay them a visit.

Villanueva: Students and families have the opportunity to learn about private college education and, of course, how the 25 excellent independent schools in the Commonwealth might be a match for them.
The 25 schools are having information sessions twice a day for the entire week.
Villanueva: Once the student visits three schools, he or she will receive three application fee waivers, which can be used at any of the 25 colleges.
