The Ride for Kids takes off Sunday morning from the Times Dispatch Printing Plant in Mechanicsville.  Registration opens at 8am.

Abrams:  The registration closes at 9:45 and the ride leaves at 10 a.m. sharp.

Kerry Abrams is a Task Force Chairman for the ride, which joins Atlanta and Cleveland on the road June the 6th.

Abrams:  There are a total of this year of 41 events spaced around the country.  They start in early February in Florida and they go throughabout the first week in November.

The Ride for Kids program raised nearly five million dollars last year.

Abrams:  Now this is a fully police-escorted ride.  We go through some absolutely beautiful country, through Hanover County and King William County.  It takes all of not quite a hour and a half.

There is a fee to register.  Learn more on line at www.RideforKids.org.
