Belkowitz:  Each week we ask people to bring a brown bag lunch and we provide drinks and desert.

Shirley Belkowitz is the Foundation’s Director of Museums.

Tomorrow’s speaker is Mickey Garcia.

Belkowitz:  He is one of the partners working on developing the old Hopewell high school building into apartments.

Other programs include historian Chris Calkins talking about the Civil War Battle of Sailor’s Creek and its connection to Hopewell’s City Point area.  On another Wednesday, Bonnie Fairbanks will portray Abigail Adams talking about her life and times.  The goal each week, Belkowitz added is…

Belkowitz:  a little history and a little fun.

The Lunch and Lecture Series in Hopewell is free and open to the public. You can learn more online at historichopewell.org.
