Pro-Choice License Plates Available in 2010
Pro-Choice license plates apparently will be among the options available to Virginia motorists later this year.
The plates will say “Trust Women, Respect Choice,” and their part of legislation passed by this years General Assembly that Governor McDonnell will not veto, even though he is a Catholic who personally opposes abortion.

Tobias: In other words, states, once they make available these specialty plates, essentially must make them available to all comers, to all points of view.
Last year, Governor Kaine signed a bill for a “Choose Life” plate expressing the opposite point of view.
In allowing the new Trust Women plate, McDonnell did amend the bill to ensure that any money generated by it would not be used to provide abortion services prevention services.
