Suspect in High Speed Chase Posts Bond

Glen Fuselier, Jr. is out of jail. Accused of a number of felonies in connection with a high speed chase last week, he was granted bond on Wednesday.

Fuselier, who’s from Colonial Heights, posted $46,000 bond in connection with the incident a week ago, that ended with the van he was driving hitting a State Police car and flipping onto its roof on I-95.  There were three young children in the ‘94 Chevy van when it crashed, the youngest 5 months old.  Fortunately, State Police say, they were all in child safety seats and will recover from their injuries.

Fuselier is no stranger to the justice system.  He was charged with embezzlement last year in Colonial Heights, pleaded guilty and was in a treatment program.  Now he could end up doing more time in that case. Four years ago, Fuselier was severely burned after accidentally pouring gasoline on a fire. He will have a preliminary hearing on the 25th of next month.
