Town Hall with Congressman Perriello

Congressman Perriello has invited residents of the Fifth District to meet with him at Delray’s Restaurant in Chase City this morning.  From 9 until 10:30 a.m. constituents will have an opportunity to meet with the Congressman to express concerns, discuss proposals, or get help with federal agencies.  Congressman Perriello recently released an annual report from 2009 saying, “One year into my term I am proud of the work we’ve done to bring serious investment to our area, saving jobs and supporting the local economy during a brutal recession.” Congressman Perriello, who was elected by a narrow margin, is seen by some to be vulnerable in fall elections, when he will run against the winner of the June Republican primary.
