A researcher at VCU’s Massey Cancer Center has received a Fulbright Scholar Grant to England, to study the economic impact of end-of-life care in the United States and the United Kingdom. Charles Fishburne reports.

On Saturday, the U.S. Coast Guard begins Boating Safety Week. Earlier this month, three high-profile boating accidents were in the headlines for the number of people involved and their tragic circumstances. Virginia law enforcement officials will be out in full force this week to educate the public.

Hurricane Season is less than two weeks away, and yesterday the National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration predicted as many as 18 tropical storms, with the possibility half of them could strengthen into hurricanes. Charles Fishburne reports.
