Richmond Symphony Youth Orchestra Members Perform Live on WCVE

The Richmond Symphony Youth Orchestra program was originally founded in 1962 and now consists of four youth orchestras providing beginning to advanced musical training. Students participate in weekly rehearsals, coachings and masterclasses by Richmond Symphony musicians.

The RSYO will be performing their spring concert at the Carpenter Theatre on Sunday, May 20th at 7:00 p.m. We were thrilled to have two of the participating musicians stop by to talk about the orchestra program and share their talents with us via a live performance!

Enjoy this segment with Sarah Castle (flute) and Matthew Robinson (violin)!

Yours in good music,
