Charlottesville Inside-Out

Back to Local Productions
CIOIn November 2008, WHTJ Charlottesville PBS presented a brand-new weekly interview show called Charlottesville Inside-Out. The half-hour program is hosted by Terri Allard, a local performing artist and native daughter of the region. This fun and unique series explores the people and places that define Charlottesville.

The title for Charlottesville Inside-Out comes directly from the concept underlying each episode – Terri Allard introduces the guest from inside WHTJ’s studio on the Downtown Mall, and then she heads out to interview the guest on location.

Interviews have been conducted at the Charlottesville Pavilion, Innisfree Village, the Free Clinic, along the 250 Bypass for Art in Place, Walker Elementary School, Zocalo Restaurant, SOCA’s South Fork soccer fields and in the Dome Room of the Rotunda.
