The annual Great Big Greenhouse “Kid’s Day in The Garden” event was Saturday, January 23rd, and everyone’s favorite Big Red Dog, Clifford showed up to meet his fans. The Community Idea Stations partnered with The Great Big Greenhouse as WCVE Education Services Department and community volunteers assisted with children’s activities, book give-a-ways and games for the whole family. Approximately 300+ fans turned out. Doug Hensel, President of The Great Big Greenhouse said, “the event was a huge success...what a delightful day in mid-January.”

Next year’s event is set for January 22, 2011. Clifford the Big Red Dog celebrates 10 years on the Community Idea Stations this year.
