With Good Reason and The Treatment

Do you miss hearing The Treatment with Elvis Mitchell Saturdays at 4:00 p.m. during the Metropolitan Opera season? Well, now you can catch it every Sunday at 12:00 Noon on our HD-2 station! Also, With Good Reason now follows the Treatment at 12:30 p.m. so you can hear it then if you miss it Saturdays at 4:30 on our FM/HD-1 station!

The Treatment (from KCRW Santa Monica) has long been the source of insight to the workings of the film industry, it’s creators and stars. Film critic Elvis Mitchell’s ability to dig deep into the creative process and provide amazing insights has long been a staple on public radio and WCVE Public Radio has been airing the show for a number of years on our main (HD-1) station Saturdays at 4:00 p.m. during the Met Opera’s off-season. Well, now you can catch every episode, all year long, Sundays at 12:00 Noon on our HD-2 station!

With Good Reason, from the Virgina Foundation for the Humanites, has also been a staple of our main/HD-1 weekend schedule for many years, currently airing Saturdays after the Met Opera at 4:30 p.m. Occasionally, though, when the Opera runs long, it can preempt With Good Reason--so now, when that happens, you can catch it Sundays at 12:30 p.m. following the Treatment on HD-2! Host Sarah McConnell brings to life regional and Virginia-based stories that can range from history to science, entertainment to social issues and more!
