The Richmond Symphony’s LolliPops Series

Richmond Symphony’s LolliPops Series

We met with Richmond Symphony Associate Conductor Erin Freeman and guest artist Micheal Boudewyns (Sam-I-Am) to talk about the Richmond Symphony’s Lolipop concert, “Green Eggs and Ham.” This fully orchestrated adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s beloved children’s classic, cleverly composed by Robert Kapilown, featured the unstoppable Sam-I-Am.

The Richmond Symphony’s LolliPops series is a concert series designed for children and families. These concerts provide a fun introduction to the orchestra. There is a pre-concert festival prior to each concert, featuring an instrument petting zoo and musical activities. Join the Richmond Symphony for the next Lolipop concert on May 7, “Carnival of the Animals.”  To find more information, please visit richmondsymphony.com.
